This charming little spot in downtown Burlington offers a cozy atmosphere that you will feel as soon as you walk in. Whether you visit on warm days to enjoy the patio or on colder days to relax by the fireplace or the heated patio, you'll find it inviting. Located right by Village Square, this restaurant is a delightful place to dine in any season.

Atmosphere

The cozy fireplace on the TV adds a warm and inviting touch to the atmosphere, creating a sense of comfort even if it's just a virtual flame. Complementing this is the wood panel decor, which enhances the rustic and homey feel of the space. Together, these elements contribute to a cottage-like ambiance that is both comfortable and relaxed. Adding to this charm are the barrels, which could serve as part of the decor or even as tables, further emphasizing the rustic, cottage-like environment.

I ordered the Lavender Cucumber Collins. This drink seems to have a unique and refreshing profile. The cool purple ombre look, topped with cucumber skins, makes it visually appealing. The taste, which combines cucumber water and lemon with a slight lavender flavor, was both refreshing and sophisticated. It was a perfect choice for a light and aromatic cocktail.

I had the fire-toasted naan, it was really good! It was a crispy texture paired with a rich combination of red pepper and creamy cheese. The portion size was generous and very filling, making it a satisfying choice.

For dessert, the brownie with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce was the perfect way to end the meal. The warm, gooey brownie paired beautifully with the cold, creamy ice cream and the drizzle of chocolate sauce added an extra layer of indulgence.

For my first drink, I had a Basil Ginger Lemonade, which was nice and refreshing. Anything with ginger beer, I am pretty much sold, lol. My second drink, I had smoked Maple old fashion.

To start, I had the fire-roasted red pepper dip. Man, this dip was too good. The portion is a good size, so you could have it as an app, like I did, or your main meal, if you're not super hungry. For my main dish, I had cajun chicken on naan with fries. The chicken is pretty good and filling.

To drink, I had the Bonfire Margarita. It has Tequila, Cointreau and Aperol in it, so it is a nice strong drink...just how I like it! Plus, it comes with a marshmallow on top which they set on fire, so it adds a nice smoky flavor to the drink. I really enjoyed it!

For my meal, I had the Whisky steak bowl and OMG, it was delicious! The steak was tender and the bowl was flavorful. It comes with basmati rice, sautéed onion and red peppers, corn, grated cheddar, cajun tortilla strips and lime crema. I absolutely recommend this dish and would order it again.

Service

Our server was quick and friendly, offering great recommendations and even taking our photo. This kind of service makes you feel important and well taken care of, adding a personal touch to the whole experience. I would recommend this place to anyone. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, from the tasty drinks to the delicious food. Overall, the service was excellent, and our server was exceptionally nice.

The divas give this restaurant.... 4 snaps!!
